Wuthering Waves adds two new characters and brings back a roguelike mode November 14

Without any sort of context, we have to presume that the next content update for Wuthering Waves involves a location with a huge kitty and characters reaching upward from a pool of water to clutch hands with each other. Basically, the dream-like world coming on Thursday, November 14th is like few things ever seen – and clearly a reason for this multiplayer RPG to go full-throttle down Kooky Anime Nonsense Lane.

Headlining this update will be the return of the Somnoire: Illusive Realms mode in the form of the Somnium Labyrinth, a roguelike adventure that Kuro Games promises will envelop players in a tumultuous dream. Another major feature of the new patch is the introduction of two new characters: Lumi, a swift battler who appears to attack foes with a bulbous mouse; and Camellya, who swings a rose whip around in rapid spins and strikes while making yandere facial expressions.

The update will also bring some new character story content, launch a variety of events, and introduce a new echo to transform into in case any player out there wanted to become a motorcycle-riding robot wielding a massive polearm. What we’re saying is this next update looks pretty unhinged. But hey, maybe that’s what WuWa players are here for.
