How would you like your anime gacha MMO on even more platforms with even more stuff? If that’s you, you’re getting your very specific wish when Wuthering Waves releases its 2.0 update on PC and launches on PlayStation 5 come January 2nd, more colloquially known in the western world as “first day back to school/work.”
“Kuro Games today announced Wuthering Waves Version 2.0 will launch on January 2, 2025, coinciding with the game’s debut on PlayStation 5,” today’s announcement declares. “The award-winning, open-world action RPG is getting its biggest update yet, welcoming players to an all-new region, Rinascita.” In fact, Kuro is calling this a “major expansion” for the game.
Naturally, there’s a preorder bundle on PlayStation, but it’s only 10 bucks. Gacha games gonna get your cash elsewhere, right? The new video is below with a lil bit of game footage as a teaser at the end.
