Are you prepared to face the mommy necromancer in direct combat? Then you’re prepared for the newest content patch for Throne and Liberty, which has opened up the four-star Crypt of Augmentation co-op dungeon and its fight against Velentra.
“Once a professor of light magic at Venelux, Velentra’s life changed forever when she witnessed the extraordinary powers of the Arkeum knight Calanthia. Now transformed by dark magic, this mysterious necromancer stands before us, commanding ancient powers in devoted service to her dark mistress.”
While this new fight is easily the centerpiece for this update, there are a variety of other additions in the patch as well, including the arrival of earrings as a new accessory gear slot, the addition of positional attacks and commensurate benefits for many abilities that take advantage of the system, and an Interserver Siege event that kicks off every three weeks between castle owners in siege combat.
There are a whole host of other updates as well, including a long list of fixes across the board and many balance adjustments to the MMORPG’s weapons, most of which appear to fall on the nerf side of things when they’re not fixing ability issues. The patch was slightly delayed for maintenance purposes, but the servers have since come back online for all to try.
