Making the rounds today is this pair of epic Elite: Dangerous videos depicting the exploits of Elite clan Distant Worlds as 52 members of its fleet made a simultaneous leap into hyperspace framed by the Sagittarius A* star.
Redditor 4arkless, a member of the group, posted that the jump was “easily the coolest shit [he’d]Â ever done in a video game, ever,” and if you’ve ever pulled off a similarly huge (or bigger!) event in an MMORPG, we’re pretty sure you understand the feeling. He also says he believes it “was the biggest organized jump in Elite history,” which may very well be true since the game launched with a 32-person per instance cap.
