Tree of Savior compensates players for downtime, removes DLC from Steam

Time to catch up on Tree of Savior, shall we? Rewinding the clock a little to late May, we see that the title removed all of its DLC packages from Steam after temporarily blocking new players from accessing it. This was done because the team felt that the TP bundles also present in the Steam store made the DLC packs redundant and unecessary.

A small update that went into the game today caused a longer-than-expected bout of downtime. The game is back up, however, and all players are being given a 12-hour time token and four tomes of experience as an apology. As for the patch itself, it’s mostly small bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements.

One spot of good news is that as part of the patch, Tree of Savior reduced the price of its 30-day TP shop token by half. Players who were using or processing new 30-day tokens when this change happened today are eligible to be compensated with seven extra days.
