I look forward to people asking why I'm picking on this game and why I hate it after spending several years praising it.

Hey, Xbox One peeps. Have you tried The Elder Scrolls Online on your platform yet? If not, then you should definitely feast your eyes on ZeniMax’s latest promotion, which includes a free-play event for you starting tomorrow and running through the weekend.

“The Xbox One Free Play Days event runs from November 2 until November 5. If you’re a new player, this is a great opportunity to check out the game and experience a world where you can go anywhere and do anything. Even better, all new ESO accounts are gifted 500 free crowns for use in the in-game Crown Store, allowing you to pick up some useful items such as potions, XP Scrolls, food, or an adorable pet!”

Participants in past freebie events will find their characters still intact and playable. Take heart, PC and PS4 players; the studio implies there’ll be an event for you in the near future as well.

The event is part of Bethsoft’s grand #10MillionStories hoopla, which as of today also includes another massive giveaway. All you’ve got to do is enter the sweepstakes’ online form and log into the game at least once between now and December 6th. One grand prize winner will snag a trip to PAX East 2018 along with a plus one, all the in-game collectibles in the cash shop, and a copy of him or herself placed into the game. Runners-up will be taking home a huge assortment of prizes, including sub time, gaming PCs, keyboards, plushies, mounts, cash-shop currency, and lockboxes.
