What exactly is Wander? Now is your chance to see! An explorer at heart, MassivelyOP’s MJ can’t wait to dive into the newly launched cooperative exploration game devoid of combat. That’s right — no combat. She’ll begin life as a tree-being and be shaped (literally) by whatever she discovers as she goes along. Join us live at 8:00 p.m. to experience this beautiful world and for a chance to win a copy of the game for yourself.

Eh, took it off my wishlist after watching this stream. Thanks for saving me some money MJ.
I love exploration in games and after watching MJ’s video I decided to buy Wander and check it out. Instead of a relaxing, enjoyable experience, I found myself eventually yelling at my monitor.
That lovely purple-ish structure from the end of the video? I managed to swim up into the top of the higher side and then spent a frustrating 20 minutes trying to get the lizard to swim back down within the narrow confines. Maybe it would have been easier in first person mode, but I couldn’t get that to work even after trying the workaround. The movement controls in general felt very clunky. I was surprised at how slow the flying form seemed to be.
I’m in love with the concept of Wander, but the execution makes it feel very much like a beta or early access game to me. If you are on the fence about this one, it might be a good idea to wait until it gets a few more patches.
Wow. This game looks so interes…. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
No one? Okay – I AM GROOT!
The “idle” animation looks absolutely irritating. Â It’s doing the same motion over and over, far too quickly, it’s very squirmy for a tree.
Oh thanks for the reminder, I knew there was SOME game launching around this time I was excited for, but couldn’t remember which one it was! Â I know what I’m doing tonight… Â o/
(and, damn you late-middle-aged brain for having the retentive capacity of a colander….)
Kind of reminded me of Myst without the hard puzzles in a way. Not understanding yourself fully (as a character), the world or what’s going on in it.
Thanks MJ. I’m looking forwards to more streams from this game. It’s one I’m very interested in :)
I almost bought it last night but literally every Steam review advised holding off for patches. =/
