You are in a field. There are exits to the north, south, and west. The east doesn’t count. East is the way that cowards go. Meanwhile, the south is filled with drug addicts who are also cowards and the west is covered in, like, dirty diapers. So you’re going north.
You went north, and now you’re in a forest. There’s a path to the east and one to the northeast. The northeast path has a bunch of snakes on it, but you still decide to go that way. Now you’re covered in snakes. Your only hope is that they’re not poisonous. Surprise! They’re actually super poisonous.
We hope you’ve enjoyed this week of non-interactive fiction from What Are You Playing, and you can join us again next week when you have to cut either the red or green wire but the text parser is not advanced enough to understand many phrases, so you time out as you’re trying to suss out the correct verb combination. In the interim, find out what you’re playing and let us know your plans in the comments.
Brianna Royce (@nbrianna, blog): Won’t be gaming this weekend, but I will be hanging out with some guildies IRL! We’re raiding the city… just a bummer we have no one to gate us.
Eliot Lefebvre (@Eliot_Lefebvre, blog): Continuing through Borderlands with my wife along with my usual diversions in Final Fantasy XIV and World of Warcraft. It’s also my anniversary weekend, so we’ll be spending some time just dallying about.
Jef Reahard (@jefreahard): I’m not gaming much this weekend, but I’ll probably make some time for a couple of missions in The Crew.
Justin Olivetti (@Sypster, blog): One of my most pressing to-do items is to wrap up all of my companion stories in Star Wars: The Old Republic before the expansion opens up next week, so that is a priority. Past that, leveling my Medic in WildStar is probably where you’ll find me!
MJ Guthrie (@MJ_Guthrie, blog): Baby dinos! Vorpal bunnies! That pretty well covers what little gaming time I have this weekend; I’ll be hatching and raising some baby dinos in ARK: Survival Evolved, and then working on the special event achievement in EverQuest II. I might also join Larry for some last-minute SWTOR leveling to get ready for the expansion on Tuesday. Any spare time will be in Sword Coast Legends messing with the DM tools.
Pierre: I have a lot of work to do this weekend… again. So not a lot of free time for gaming. I’m taking a MMO break to cure my recent MMO burnout, but I’m playing a solo game, Remember Me; it’s a nice game and easy to play for short sessions of one hour, just what I need in this very busy period. I hope you MOP readers have more time than I do to enjoy MMOs.
Your turn!
