Trion Worlds started testing out its new multicore support for RIFT this week, and it’s invited players to check out the beta. The feature’s already been incorporated with the game, so there’s no special download required, just a change of the settings if a player is interested.
“Simply open up your RIFT settings, and in the Advanced Video section there is a checkbox to enable Experimental Multicore,” Trion instructed. “With one click the true power of your machine will be unleashed, and its performance in RIFT will reach new heights!”
Seriously, you lost it at “experimental multicore,” didn’t you? Apologize to all of those around you and try to act dignified for the rest of the day.
