WRUP: The first rule of Punch Club edition

punch punch

The first rule of Punch Club is that you do not talk about Punch Club. The second rule of Punch Club is that you do not talk about Punch Club. Third rule is seriously, do not talk about Punch Club; I will punch you in the mouth. Fourth rule is that I will punch you in the mouth no matter what happens. Rule number five is that no one else can punch anyone in the mouth. Rule number six is a lot of physics equations about how much harder I will punch you in the mouth if you talk about Punch Club compared to a normal mouth punching. The difference, I assure you, is substantial.

The seventh rule of Punch Club is that hamburgers are awesome. That one… I mean, I just feel like everyone idolizes pizza and tacos and bacon all the time; hamburgers are pretty great too. Eighth rule is that no one gets to quote any overused Monty Python sketches at Punch Club; there’s a pamphlet about the disallowed one. Ninth rule is actually just a list of shirts I don’t like. Let’s just forget about the ninth rule. I was getting tired by that point.

You know what? Let’s just forget punch club and do What Are You Playing. Punching is dumb.

Andrew Ross (@dengarsw): Taking it easy on the job applications this weekend. I might do some Hearthstone, but I’m hitting Battleborn pretty hard this weekend. It just got unlocked in Japan on May 19, which has left little room for to to try it out before Overwatch. It’s still early on, but I feel like I get some of our readers when they say they prefer BB. It certainly seems to make a bit more sense for price versus content, but I’m not sure how to feel about the DLC. However, having a PvE campaign that overlaps with online play’s proven quite fun and has me wishing more of these online multiplayer-focused games would follow suit!

Brianna Royce (@nbrianna, blog): Same as always most likely for me… been playing a lot of Diablo III, working two characters up at once. I took some tips from Massively OP reader Aldristavan and now my Demon Hunter is working a tad better than before, so yay! Thinking about getting back into Guild Wars 2 again-again-again. Modding the older The Elder Scrolls games a bit. And looking exhaustedly at my Steam list, which seems to only grow and grow.

Eliot Lefebvre (@Eliot_Lefebvre, blog):After not nearly as much work as I had expected, my Rune Fencer is up to level 99 in Final Fantasy XI. I also want to keep capping out my tomes and get back to leveling some alt jobs in Final Fantasy XIV. What can I say? It’s all Square-Enix all the time for me at the moment.

MJ Guthrie (@MJ_Guthrie, blog): I’m out of town mingling with live people, but since this mingling is with another gamer, I will be able to sneak in some HEX, some ARK: Survival Evolved, and maybe a tad of Landmark. I’ll be diving back into Dishonored as well; I just hope I can find the code for the safe I discovered!

Patron Thechefdude: This weekend it’s pretty much all ESO Thieves Guild for me. I’ve been waiting for this and Dark Brotherhood since I jumped into the game in April 2014, so it’s been a long time coming. I may dabble with some more Uncharted 4 multiplayer for downtime. Have a great weekend everyone!

Your turn!
