You were a pretty place.

No matter the game, you have cities to deal with. Admittedly, they take unusual forms in some games; Star Trek Online and EVE Online both have space stations instead of ground cities, and Tokyo in The Secret World is most certainly a city but not a city in the usual MMO sense. But games always have central locations, places where players can gather and explore, from Stormwind in World of Warcraft to Al Zahbi in Final Fantasy XI. Bigger than towns and settlements, these cities are the hearts of a game.

So today, we’re asking you what your favorite MMO city is? Is it the careful gardens and reaching spires of Illium in WildStar? The multi-cultural enclave of humans at Divinity’s Reach in Guild Wars 2? The coldly brutal design of Kaas City in Star Wars: The Old Republic? Let us know your favorite city down below!

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
