Black Desert is on a hot streak of activity is month. The title merged servers in its “New World” update earlier this month while also announcing a partnership with a tech company that could result in better visuals for the already-gorgeous game.

But what’s next? Apparently there is big buzz swirling around an update that’s coming out in Japan and should be heading to Korea and the west eventually. Contained in this gift-wrapped content patch includes the playable Dark Elf class, the port city of Magoria, the jungle region of Kamasylve, a guild battleship, a tier 9 mount, and lots of new story to explore.

The Dark Elf is a hybrid class that uses a long sword and strong magic to strike out at foes from a distance.

If you’re willing to wade through a long presentation in a foreign language, you should be able to spot some of the upcoming features and locales for Black Desert in the following videos.
