WRUP: Your honor, I motion for lizards edition

Mr. Lefebvre: Your honor, the defense motions for lizards.
The Court: Counsel, could you repeat?
Mr. Lefebvre: Your honor, the defense motions for lizards. Your honor, the defense motions for lizards. Your honor, the defense motions for lizards.
The Court: Approach.

Mr. Lefebvre: Given the nature of lizards as long, cuddly scale babies, the defense feels that it is important to motion for lizards.
The Court: Does the prosecution have any objection?
Mr. Lefebvre wearing a false moustache and imitating a Russian accent: I am afraid of spaghetti.
The Court: Motion passes. Lizards

Lizards flood into the courtroom from all possible points of entry.

Mr. Lefebvre wearing a false moustache and imitating a Russian accent: The prosecution motions for What Are You Playing.
Mr. Lefebvre: Objection!
The Court: Overruled; please state your weekend plans in the comments.

Andrew Ross (@dengarsw): Gonna be a mobile weekend. By the time you read this, I’ll already be level capped in Pokemon Go! My sister’s coming over though, so that means more mobile gaming, especially since my brother’s also doing Animal Crossing Pocket Camp while Fire Emblem Heroes added more customization. Maybe I can get both siblings to do some Mario Kart 8 Deluxe or the Bomberman game I got for the Switch.

Brianna Royce (@nbrianna, blog): Probably Guild Wars 2? Depends how my kid is feeling and how much time I have. December is always the worst for free time to actually play! But Tina informed me I’m living under a rock if I haven’t finished Path of Fire yet, so I should probably get back to it.

Eliot Lefebvre (@Eliot_Lefebvre, blog): It’s been a lousy week all around; I’m going to drown my sorrows in Final Fantasy XIV, Secret World Legends, and World of Warcraft. Possibly some other single-player stuff, too.

Justin Olivetti (@Sypster, blog): I’m back to playing – and healing – on my Druid in World of Warcraft, so she needs some of my attention. I also need to penetrate the inner sanctum of the Fear Nothing Foundation in Secret World Legends and clock in some decent time in Lord of the Rings Online.

Patron Pierre: Destiny 2 is still my main plate these days. On Tuesday, the Curse of Osiris DLC will launch, and I’m hyped by this new content. I’m exploring different options for another game of interest, but my backlog is so large that I cannot decide what to play next. It’s a nice issue to encounter, as it means there are loads of great games, and we, gamers, are extremely lucky these days. Enjoy your weekend, MOP readers. And don’t forget to tell us what you’re playing this weekend in the comments. Cheers!

Your turn!

Between the weather, toothaches, pain meds, lack of sleep, and home repairs I haven’t been having a great week. I’ve been in a pissy mood, so I’ve tried avoid posting throughout the week simply because I don’t want to act like a dick. But the upside to not typing up stuff on MOP is more time to get lost in video games.

It’s still pretty much Destiny 2 most of the time for me. Working on getting a warlock to 20 now to join the Hunter I have at 280 and the titan that’s at 272. Kicking myself a little bit for not grabbing the expansion pass three weeks ago on Greenmangaming.com when I could have saved about five bucks. Oh well.

When I’m needing some short breaks from playing Destiny, I’ve got a bunch of single player games on the go that I hop on for 30 minutes or so as the mood strikes. So right now I’m playing Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice; Super Mario Odyssey; Lego Marvel Super-Heroes 2; Uncharted: The Lost Legacy; and I keep meaning to play the second episode of Life is Strange: Before the Storm, but at this point I think I’ll wait to do the last two episodes together.

Since video shares seem to be the thing all the cool kids are doing this week, I’m joining in with a bit of Super Mario Odyssey that I captured for a friend who wanted to check it out (I hope we’re not all going to start doing lootboxes next week, but if the cool kids say it’s cool, I’ll do it too). I was groggy on painkillers, trying to remember the motion controls, and the controllers glitched out as I started off, but it’s a fun little boss fight.

Enjoy your weekend folks.

I am having issues with linking this stuff because of painkillers… yeah… that’s it. That’s the ticket.

Great vid!

Man, that game is so odd, and fun. Lol.

This week: Because you won something, doesn’t mean it’s a win for everyone else and/or necessarily the thing you won is actually a good thing. Just saying.

Also this week: Blade & Soul, and how it it’s drawing me in…which also answers today’s Dailey Grind. As well as WoW, and slowly shifting my gears for 7.3.5…I think that’s what they are calling it And something about TERA and Elin Gunners too!

…so have a great week and weekend folks! <3

Ok. I’m home sick so don’t judge me!

But I made a music video that is a slice of my Wrap Up for this weekend.

So, what will I be doing this weekend aside from coughing up a lung? THIS! (and playing around with my new vid editor)

…BTW, what is the point of the Dailey Dash anyways? o.O

I know it popper up intrusively on your video as it does when I log on to my characters. And RNG’s shiny materials of mysterious reason into my mail box when I activate it. I do store them into my bank, as I am pretty sure they will serve some importance to me eventually. It would be better though if it spammed me costume pieces instead. >.<

The daily dash is just a reward for logging in, and hanging around a little. 3 spins. Sometimes the rewards are great and others, meh.

Store them, yes. You will need them later for crafting and upgrading etc. Sometimes the Daily Dash has outfits, but not very often.

Sorry I haven’t been around today. Been sleeping alot trying to get rid of this flu bug. I’ll be around tomorrow, err… later on today.

Get well soon then!

…and don’t worry about me. I am currently stuck on a roof of a abandoned house trying to figure out how to turn my quest into Old Man Cho who is stuck on top of a grain silo. /sigh

Note to NC: I know Guild Wars 2 was a degree of success for you guys. But that doesn’t mean that jump puzzles are popular over there as you think they are. >.<

Lol! I know the quest. And have an easy peasy trick to get you up there.

i’ll show you once I log in. And I’m right there too. Now is the time to group for leveling. You will see what I mean, but the quest there are man and all over the place. Always nice to have someone to share that burden.

I picked up Xenoblade Chronicles 2 on switch. I usually never ever buy a game blind but i saw so much gushing about this comparing it to the golden era for ps2/gamecube “not final fantasy” jrpgs and people saying stuff like “kids finding this under their christmas tree will be like back when we got Grandia as kids” and i had to check it out.
And while down sick i managed to put in 17 hours over 2 days so yeah, pretty hooked on it. Its like what if FFXV had worse graphics/performance but didn’t play like a worse kingdom hearts. With lots of neat mechanics like the titans that people live on walk through the cloud sea and at certain times ‘high cloud’ makes some areas impassable but others open and right from the off lvl.90 monsters can be found so theres a LOT of ‘come back later’ stuff to get into.

Its not big budget amazing jrpg compared to the likes of Persona 5 but its just such a mechanically better game than Square Enixes current “m-maybe a SECOND year of paid season pass dlc will make a feature complete retail release?!?” trainwreck. If you like stuff like Grandia, Phantasy Star and Skies of Arcadia and own a switch its a no brainer.

More blue-tinged adventures in chiss-controlled space for me with SWTOR’s new patch… most likely nothing else until chores are fully taken care of and they never are….

I’ll read a lot though. Putting order in your bookshelves tend to make the odd one you never finished in the spotlight.

This weekend is mostly about RL festivals, but in between I’ve been hanging out at the Harvestmatch festival encore on my social alt in LotRO (that’s her below, looking at Fornost from Amon Raith), and kocking off a few exploration deeds on the side. If I have a little spare time, I’ll probably start a new alt in ESO as well, now that I’ve finally gotten the Morrowind expansion and I can wander in and see how it’s changed in 20 years. Have a great weekend all!

I’m getting a bunch of friends together to play D&D Online, the one with the wood’n’metal robots. It is SO MUCH BETTER with friends!

Still playing Fallout 4. I doubt I’ll be playing anything else until next year.

Played some more Warframe and tried out Tower of Time which is a early access RPG with some RTS mixed in there with a super slo mo mode. As an EA game it of course has a few minor ruff edges at this point, but it looks like it is going to be really good when it gets done.

RL tips of the week:
1) Someone at work made brownies with coffee, black pepper, chocolate chips, and black rum – awesome combo.
2) Watched the new Vikings episodes on the History channel website and it streams in 21:9. That combo’d with the sound from my headphones made it even better.
