I think it’s very easy to go full-in on negativity and bitter cynicism as an MMO fan, nursing emotional wounds caused by all of the ways that games have failed in the past. Maybe it was that MMO that you were looking forward to for years that didn’t end up being All That, or changes in one that you used to enjoy that turned the experience bitter for you.
Yeah, that’s not what I want to talk about today.
Instead, let’s take a moment to talk about the MMOs that actually did good by us. The games that we made our “home” for a long while. The titles that captivated us and immersed us into the community. Maybe it was even a game that everyone else tried and left, but you stuck around because it did it for you.
