Another year has come and gone for the online ship battler World of Warships, so it’s high time to celebrate with its players. The latest update to the game is marking the occasion with a whole lot of free stuff to get, new Directives, and a host of other goodies.
The contents of the new update include a 3v3 Clan Brawl, two new Ranked Sprints, audio and graphical updates, and a discount coupon applicable to Premium ships that can be acquired for Doubloons in the Armory. Players are also going to be loaded down with free stuff like Credits, Premium time, and containers full of things like flags and a Tier VI ship. Some of these freebies can be earned through a Victory Bonus (though the reward changes depending on the tier of ship you bring to the fight), while the Tier Vi ship is earned by completing the new Directives.
There’s also a variety of discounts and boosts happening between now and September 24th, including 200% XP for the first win of the day and a 60% cost reduction for things like consumables, signals, and camo patterns. There are also daily missions, carrier-based aviation training exercises, and missions based on the mascot cat Unsinkable Sam.
