PlanetSide 2 recently welcomed its first “killionaire,” as player Mentis2k6 reached one million kills on a single character. In honor of the occasion, Daybreak awarded the player a lifetime subscription and hid an homage to the achievement somewhere in the game.
In other PlanetSide 2 news, the Colossus update is going through its paces on the test server. This content patch includes the titular five-player heavy tank, outfit logs, merit deployables, facility modules, and the NS-66 Punisher heavy grenade launcher.
Daybreak said that the Colossus update isn’t the only thing that fans have to anticipate. Coming down the pike is a new campaigns and missions system, which should be coming later this summer.
