Darewise, the development studio behind co-operative survival MMO Life Beyond, has gotten itself a fresh infusion of funds to the tune of €3 million or over $3.4 million USD. The investment is led by Serena, a European venture capital firm, as well as another venture capital company called Lakestar. Darewise has stated that it will be using the new money to continue recruiting new developers as well as boost the development of Life Beyond.

Readers will recall that Life Beyond was originally known as Project C, while Darewise is the studio behind Rokh, another space survival title that floundered and ultimately was shelved back in 2018.

As for Life Beyond’s more recent news, an update last week has made building structures absolutely free while also including faster farming animations, making the Iron Beetle no longer aggressive when players get close, and improving a few missions.
