Forests are lovely places, except for the ones with lots of stinging insects and dangerous wildlife and some form of corrupting influence that requires sci-fantasy fighters to investigate. That last event is only happening to Naverius’ Forest in Phantasy Star Online 2 as part of this week’s campaign. At least it should be because if that were happening in real life, that’d be pretty concerning.
From now until July 29th, players can check out this new region for the sole purpose of finding out the source of this corruption. If that’s not motivation enough, there will also be SG 20 Tickets for completing the quest multiple times as well as a 100% boost to rare item drop rates.
The new week also brings yet another Urgent Quest schedule for those who are looking to fight in some larger scale multiplayer events or watch a concert on a spaceship. It’s kind of PSO2’s whole bag, after all, and it’ll give you something to do while you wait for New Genesis.
