Dr. Destroyer. Boy, what a comic book-y villain name. I love his ’80s-style cheese. I love his Marc Silvestri-looking metallic outfit. And I love that his minions are called Destroids, which happen to be the primary threat in the third week of the anniversary of Champions Online.
Players of the superheroic MMO will need to take on Destroids as they attack areas outside of Renaissance Center, with daily missions to collect memory cores from these foes and bring them to The Drifter for a box of Anniversary Favors. There’s also some costume pieces to collect that let players form Retro Mechanon as well as the Retro Dr. Destroyer Action Figure and Retro Dr. Destroyer Tights available in the Questionite Store.
