Let's effin go

This year has been almost an embarrassment of riches when it comes to new MMOs launching with a pretty sizable push. We saw Crowfall pass over the line to release, Elyon finally came out, Swords of Legends Online showed up out of nowhere, and New World stopped delaying and actually released. That’s four pretty big titles for different reasons all smashing out of the gate, and that’s kind of a big deal. But as November treads on, the question becomes which of those games will be doing well next year.

Of course, some people are quick to forecast doom and gloom for all of these titles and several more besides, so today we’re sticking with positivity. Which new MMO from 2021 do you have the highest hopes for? Which game do you think has the brightest potential for developments in 2022 and beyond, even if you might not think that any of them are precisely your cup of tea?

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
