If you’ve been playing so much Among Us that that you can see the game’s maps in your sleep, prepare yourself to have a new location to study. The multiplayer deceive-em-up has introduced the Fungle, a new map for players to check out as they either complete their chosen tasks or try and sabotage the whole crew, depending on which side of the asymmetry coin they fall.

“Work with your fellow Crewmates to repair the communication channels after crashing into a deserted island! But it’s never that easy is it? Crewmate life is full of dread and chaos. Deal with an all new sabotage, fix the old ones, and figure out who the Impostors are before you become on of their victims! I wouldn’t stand so close to that vent if I were you…”

As the map’s name implies, the Fungle is primarily a mushroom jungle that has sandy beaches, cliffs, and some highland areas that can provide a lookout position. For crewmates, tasks sound generally serene including roasting marshmallows, playing frisbee, and fishing, while saboteurs can use the new Mushroom Mixup sabotage that swaps everyone’s color and cosmetics for a limited time or take advantage of the wide open beach to isolate a potential kill victim.

On top of the new map, the latest update has added several new thematic cosmetics along with a new cosmetics-filled Cosmicube and made several bug fixes to the game overall. All of the details can be found in the patch notes post.
