The Daily Grind: How bad are you about spamming jumps in MMORPGs?

Not precisely spoopy.

Jumping in MMOs was a mistake, at least if you want everyone to have a deep reservoir of decorum and calmness. A simple tap of the space bar (usually) sends you hurtling an inconsequential distance into the air and it makes you feel slightly satisfied. And if you can get a small rush of endorphins just from tapping a big key on your keyboard, why wouldn’t you do that all the time? The answer is you would. You do it all the time.

Of course, some people do get oddly judgmental about spamming jumps for fun and giggles. And you know, when you’ve spent half an hour straight jumping up and down on a mailbox in Ironforge, maybe you have kind of lost the plot along the way. So how bad are you about spamming jumps in MMORPGs? Do you do so compulsively or do you just occasionally, lightly tap on the button in a respectful fashion?

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
