The pirates are back from the holidays, bringing buried treasure features to Sea of Thieves with the upcoming Season 11 patch. To expound upon the patch’s big points — including quick travel and a ship quest table — is an 18-minute deep dive from the one-eyed rapscallions over at Rare.

“The main goal we wanted to try to achieve in Season 11 was providing players with the ability to have shorter session experiences,” said the devs. “The other goal is about providing players on-demand access to some of the best content that we have in Sea of Thieves.”

The new quest table got a lot of the video’s focus, as it allows players a more “predictable” play session by looking over all of the available options and selecting what appeals to them the most, including the current voyages and tall tales that can be engaged.

The team said that the quest table is an answer to Sea of Thieves’ six-plus years of content additions into a single manageable space: “It’s trying to bring it all together.”
