Among Us shares a cryptic teaser image from its animated series and promises work is progressing

Last summer the world learned that the popular multiplayer title Among Us was getting its own animated series sometime in the future. Unfortunately we still don’t know just when that may be, but we do have a teaser image and a promise from the game’s official Twitter account.

The image itself shows a completely empty cafeteria with several pizzas awaiting on tables, with party balloons and a blood-stained banner that reads “we’re dead” in the background. “[P]atient Crewmates are rewarded with a pizza party (totally safe) (not a trap),” the tweet reads. “Work on the show is progressing!”

As with our previous reporting, this leaves details up to the imagination, though we do know that Titmouse animation (Star Trek: Lower Decks, Metalocalypse, Critical Role) will handle the series visuals and Owen Dennis (Regular Show, Infinity Train) will be the creator and executive producer. If nothing else, this picture hints at the series’ dark comedy leanings.
