Victorian survivalbox Nightingale adds its offline mode this week

From our perspective here at MOP, generally we like to see online RPGs evolve toward becoming expansive MMOs over time. However, once promising Victorian survival sandbox Nightingale is swinging the pendulum the other way as it incorporates a solo offline mode with this week’s Update 0.3, though of course it will retain its multiplayer features too.

Inflexion games said that the offline mode will be a “work in progress” and come alongside the ability to build from your storage, the addition of new quests, the option to skip the tutorial, and the game’s first community event. The studio said that player demand for an offline mode shifted its focus to making it a priority.

As for the community event, Inflexion challenges players to find collectable wisps in the world that can be exchanged for rewards at a special vendor. The event will run from this week until early July.
