I’m not sure why I always get a smile on my face when I hear Vindictus is getting new content – something about the fact that a 14-year-old MMORPG is still getting updates, and it’s Nexon to boot.
Anyhow, this round, the hack-and-slash MMO has released its next seasonal episode, season 4, episode 9, Desperate Deterrent. It comes with a level cap bump to 120, new gear, limited-time rewards, the new storyline, and a high-end raid too:
“Only the strongest heroes at level 120 can try their hand at the latest raid found in the Mount Celsina region of Toward Taratha, and those who complete the battle before Tuesday, July 9 will receive bonus Evil Cores. With a group of highly skilled players, heroes can embark on a journey to stop the resurrection of Lord Balor, but first must face the boss monster Sreng, who hopes to bring the lord to life. A fearsome foe, Sreng is a mighty commander capable of brutal attacks using nothing but his own body and the earth around him and is assisted by his formidable army of giants.”
