Nexon is talking up Mabinogi’s next update, launching next week: It’s the second part of its chapter 8 Winds of Fate release, but don’t let the ordinal fool you – this one has as much content as the first. In fact, the content that caught my eye is Moonlight Island, a new island village that players can claim and decorate.
“Welcome to Moonlight Island,” the studio says. “Your own island village to decorate however you like! Make the island beautiful and allow visitors to settle there. After you set up your Homestead, you can complete the guide quest Moonlighting in Island Development to get started. Create waterways, build hills, plant flowers, or install a fountain! All of the terrain is adjustable for you to design a beautiful unique space.”
But of course, there’s also new combat content and rewards, all set against the plot backdrop revolving around the disappearance of the NPC wanderer and mercenary Delga.
The update rolls out on August 8th.
