It’s quite easy to fall into ruts and routines in MMOs, especially after you’ve been playing one for years. Sure, you could wait until the developers introduce fresh content to give you something different to do, but you could also take the initiative to get outside your routine and try something new.

Maybe this is trying out an ignored class, rolling up your sleeves to do some crafting for the first time, exploring a neglected zone, or (gasp) being social in a way that you’re not used to doing.
