If you’re seeing players in Project: Gorgon dashing around slaughtering foes willy-nilly (more than normal anyway), that’s because there’s a community-wide Writ Challenge that’s going on between now and Monday, August 19th, that is promising goodies for everyone if certain milestones are hit.
The task is simple: Go out and kill enemies between levels five and 95 and hope that they drop either writs of unlock or golden writs of unlock, which are worth one point and 25 points respectively, then bring them back to the Writ Master in Sebule to add them to a game-wide total.
Goodies that can be unlocked include temporary expansions to the Serbule community chest, a limited edition cosmetic pet, or per-account items like unique consumables and free glamour credits. There’s also a seven-part quest associated with the challenge that rewards 28 live event credits to those who complete it. The event runs up until midnight this coming Monday, so there are still quite a few hours to run up the communal total if you’re so inclined.
