Korean side-scrolling MMOARPG Lunia Z returns to the global stage thanks to Valofe

This is another one of those MMO games that is either going to be a blast from the past or curious new information, depending on you: We’re talking about Lunia Online, a side-scrolling lobby-based MMOARPG that first released in 2008 by ALL-M, was shut down in 2014, and then came back as a mobile title in Korea under the stewardship of Valofe, which is still running to this day.

If any of that has your curiosity or your nostalgia, then you might be interested to learn that the game is back for global audiences as Lunia Z Global, described as a “large-scale multiplayer online action game with a role-playing theme,” which is a lot of words to say “MMORPG.”

The game’s combat appears to be as active as it’s always been, with several anime heroes to choose from, the promise of plenty of quests, PvP combat, and a host of events that marked its official return last week. The game was also listed on Steam but has since been taken down, apparently. So there you have it; this one’s back now. Hurrah?
