Black Desert brings Seoul to PC September 12, tweaks boats on console, adds treasure material exchange on mobile

This week has certainly been a busy one for games all over the place (spare a thought for Bree and send her tea and cozy plushies) and that’s certainly no different for the three flavors of Black Desert, so let’s hop right into this week’s newest updates.

The biggie is for the PC version of the MMORPG: Land of the Morning Light – Seoul is confirmed for September 12th. Our own MJ went to the Heidel Ball this year to scope out what’s coming with the update, so make sure to read up on that report for more if you haven’t already.

As for this week’s content patch, that opens the Crescent Shrine monster zone as well as new artifacts to prepare for Seoul’s challenges, applies a round of class balance updates, and makes some adjustments to the Red Battlefield, among other changes.

This week’s BDO Console update features a material overhaul for upgrading certain ships plus some smaller adjustments to monsters, item listings, boss knowledge acquisition, and an update to the Dekrogda Relic, though that’s been rescheduled for September 4th.

Finally, BDO Mobile’s patch this week is headlined with a new treasure materials exchange feature to help smooth out earning specific items, although drop rates and amounts for needed materials are still apparently pretty stingy in order to preserve the value of these items. There’s also some error fixes for certain characters, a lineup of events, and some tweaks to monster spawns in Looney Cabin and ecology knowledge gain in the Great Desert.
