Sure, there were plenty of gameplay reveals as part of its Gamescom presence, but that doesn’t mean the sneak peeks are over for Crimson Desert, as IGN has some more in-game footage to share for the “open world action-adventure” game.
The footage in question provides just under an hour of gameplay in what appears to be some of the opening tutorial sections of the game, starting off with main protagonist Kliff fighting against an enemy force known as the Black Bears while his comrades are taken down, then moving to some quests, an opening portion of the story, and culminating in a fight against a boss known as Split Horn.
Once again, this footage is for single-player gameplay, with the question of the title’s multiplayer features still remaining unanswered, which is why we’re covering this thing at all.
The gameplay preview comes ahead of Crimson Desert’s planned arrival to TwitchCon, where it’s rumored that the RPG could announce a release date while also offering one-on-one playable demos.
