Where does chocolate milk come from? Well if you’re living in the world of whimsy that is the upcoming co-op farming sim Everbloom, it comes from cows that were fed candy bars. And as you can see in the header image, those cows are majestically round.
This upcoming multiplayer title from developer Torbie Games will let players establish a customizable farmstead with placeable buildings, crop fields to tend, and animals to breed and raise. The menagerie of animals and variety of plants can run from the mundane to the amusing, with players able to raise chocolate or strawberry cows, set peppers on fire to make them spicy, or grow buckets of popcorn right from their field.
The game also promises a hand-crafted open world to explore with a wide assortment of biomes, a full four seasons to account for, and plenty of NPCs to befriend, and all of it can be experienced either solo or with up to three other friends.
A release date for Everbloom is yet to be announced, but the game can already be wishlisted on Steam, which has already garnered 50K such wishlistings on the platform in just over a month. A gameplay trailer can be seen below as well.
I can't believe it's been over two years working on Everbloom. Our cozy game has come a long way. We couldn't have done it without everyone's support. ❤️🌱🐄 #indiegame #relaxinggame #cozygames #gamedev pic.twitter.com/oXJkdF0m4Z
