Dark Age of Camelot marks its 23rd birthday with gifts and realm bonuses

While some MMOs we could name are preening their feathers at becoming 20 years old this year, Dark Age of Camelot is like, “Oh yeah? Hold my mead while I turn 23.”

And indeed, the long-running RvR MMO hit its 23rd anniversary on October 10th. “If in 2001, someone were to have told the team at Mythic Entertainment that the three realms would still be at war in 2024, they might have been dubious but (and this I know for a fact) extremely proud,” a dev posted.

To mark the anniversary, Broadsword turned on realm bonuses, handed out a series of gifts to level 50 characters, and activated the anniversary traveling merchants. Additionally, the game’s Halloween event should activate soon.
