Fallout 76 embraces Halloween with spooky Scorched and a haunted CAMP contest

Is it possible for a nuked-out world full of mutated horrors and carnivorous cryptids to be scarier at Halloween than any other day of the year? Probably not, but Fallout 76 is going to try with a pair of events this month.

First up is the Return of the Spooky Scorched, where players can find and defeat special versions of the scorched for extra goody bags. “Eliminate Spooky Scorched and trick-or-treat to complete weekly and daily challenges for haunting rewards like these fantastic Jack-O-Lites, featuring different fearsome creatures from Appalachia like a ghoul and the infamous Mothman. These Jack-O-Lites also come in rusted versions.”

But this season isn’t only about venturing out into the wilds. Players can also hunker down at their CAMP to set up trick-or-treat bowls (which are free in the store) and try to build the scariest camp ever to win a grand total of 10,000 atoms.

The Spooky Scorched event ends November 5th, while the CAMP contest will be done on October 23rd.
