Last month we reported on the next major step forward for the crafting-focused MMORPG Haven and Hearth – a 16th world reset and launch on Steam. Both of those events have indeed gone off as scheduled, with the new world available and the game’s free-to-play arrival to the digital storefront.
A self-described non-exhaustive changelog notes that the latest hardware upgrades should be sufficient to handle up to 3,000 concurrent players, which in turn has led developer Seatribe to open a single server. Other changes made in the update include reworked food hunger values, changes to material quality cycles, combat tweaks, and a variety of fixes. As for how things are going for the Steam launch so far, the team can brag about “very positive” reviews overall and a concurrency of over 800 players.
