Throne & Liberty’s latest patch will let guilds fight over a castle and try to deliver tax money

It was already outlined, but now it’s here: The guilds of Throne and Liberty are now able to take part in a tax delivery event and castle siege event with the MMORPG’s latest patch. Bully for them.

The selected first defender guilds of Stonegard Castle can now schedule the tax delivery event sometime between 2:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m. local server time, then protect the tax haul as a caravan moves it from Vienta Village to Stonegard Castle in a literal battle of the haves versus the have-nots. If the defending alliance is successful, its members will be awash in cash shop currency and in-game gold. If attackers win, the wealth is distributed to all participants of the assault.

The patch has also introduced the castle siege event, the first of which will kick off on November 17th. This is a 45-minute battle between guilds to protect or seize the throne of Stonegard, depending on which side players are on. As reported before, this will begin at 4:00 p.m. local server time.
