Diablo 4 will let players trial the overpowered Spiritborn class for a limited time

It’s clear that Diablo IV’s Spiritborn class that was added in the Vessel of Hatred expansion is the flavor of the month, but if you happen to be a player who hasn’t bought in to this rigmarole yet, you can get a little sip of this apparent overbearing power thanks to an upcoming event.

From November 19th to December 2nd, players who haven’t bought Vessel will get the opportunity to trial the Spiritborn class for free up to level 25 when playing on Battle.net. And if the way the class feels appeals, then progress will carry over if the expansion is purchased.

The event is one of several coming on the same November 19th update, including the return of the Mother’s Blessing buffing event, the return of the Red-Cloaked Horror boss fight in helltide difficulty, and the reopening of the Midwinter Square where players can get a “powerful one-time gift.” November 19th will also bring the ability for players to boost an eternal character to level 50.

As for this week’s latest patch, that primarily focuses on some extremely potent buffs to the other classes in the OARPG, presumably in order to entice players to stop using the Spiritborn so much. The patch also adjusted runes and mercenaries upward by a significant margin and even applied some slight buffs to the Spiritborn itself. All told, everyone’s numbers go up.
