Titan Reach is starting to make good on its promise of more communication as the devs of the old-school-styled MMORPG have posted a fresh new development blog to showcase some of its progress.

First on the list is work on a new questing system that can allow the team at Square Root Studios to put together more complex quests in less time as well as make tweaks to quests without having to restart the server. The tutorial quest is the first to make use of this new system as well as a new UI, all of which are previewed in the video embed at the bottom of this news post.

The blog then moves on to showcase some new armor models, provide a look at work on a new map which will include custom-made rock pieces and new terrain, talk up new sound effects and music work, and highlight the game’s rebuilt website, complete with a new sign-up section.

For those who don’t remember, Titan Reach first arrived on our radar with a September kickstarter that fell below its $430K ask, forcing the devs to instead move to Indiegogo for crowdfunding support. As alluded to in the lede, the devs had been mostly sharing pictures and concept art on Twitter up until its November dev blog, which provided new details about Titan Reach’s development and promised increased communication via dev blogs, Twitch streams, and dev activity in the game’s Discord.
