The last update for Blade & Soul this year arrives on December 16th, and it brings with it a third specialization for Blade Dancer. The new Way of the Grim Blade allows you to summon a spectral Grimreaver to join in on your slashes, with its attacks assured of causing nightmares. That seems less effective than what normal sword slashes cause (rapid exsanguination, severe pain, dismemberment), but we assume there’s a more immediate paralytic effect rather than simply ensuring your target has a bad naptime later.
Those of you not playing Blade Dancer still have things to look forward to with the patch, as it adds in the new Heroic-difficulty House of Idols dungeon for players at Level 60. It’s available in both Easy and Hard flavors for players. There’s also a new permanent zone, the Ebon Realm, which has PvP disabled as players scurry around collecting Ebon Blooms for later trading.
