MassivelyOP’s 2021 Golden Yachties: The MMO that won’t die

MassivelyOP’s not-so-serious end-of-the-year awards continue today with our pick for the MMO that won’t die. (If you’re wondering what the heck a Golden Yachtie is, you can get caught up with the first award.)

And the winner is…

HELLGATE LONDON

I kid you not: Hellgate resurrected for something like the 10th time this year. T3 Entertainment and Hanbitsoft brought it back, or at least some of its assets smooshed into a new shooter-style format, this time as a $35 VR title that is apparently awful. The price has come down since that March release, as have the Steam reviews, which now sit at “mostly negative” because yeah we really didn’t need this game sold back to us again, stoppit.
