The Daily Grind: What departed and unplayable MMO do you most dearly miss?

There are eras of Final Fantasy XI’s development which are gone now, but the game itself is still around. The official servers of City of Heroes have been down now for quite some time, but the rogue server scene is robust and provides you with just about all the cities you could hope to hero. But there are games that have been shut down and do not have multiple rogue servers running. Some of them have no rogue servers running, and are still in the process of even having fans developing them… if that project ever truly finishes.

Today, we’re looking for memories of MMOs that are not available in any form. There are neither rogue servers nor any official servers to play on; the games are well and truly gone, and all we are left with are memories and the hopes that one day a rogue server may emerge. What departed and unplayable MMO do you most dearly miss? What game have you accepted is likely never coming back but you still want to play again just the same?
