When life’s moving a little too fast in your MMORPG, maybe it’s time to take a break, dig out the ol’ rod-and-reel, and pluck sea-faring creatures out of their natural habitat and into a cruel world which spells death for their kind.
Fishing! It’s what Minimalistway was up to in FFXIV: “A quiet moment, fishing in games makes me miss fishing in real life. Hours of doing nothing, that is luxury.”
“I’ve gotten into LOTRO after never getting past the tutorial on previous attempts,” RimaHadley said, “and the way it can capture an atmosphere is really impressing me. You can be in the sunny fields of Bree and Buckland, but take a wrong turn and you wind up in the very spooky Old Forest…”
From the dark to the light, as Vincent blinds us with some glamour: “I took a lot of action shots this week with the FC clan, but for some reason I kept coming back to this rather pensive shot as my favourite. The tank glam is a mix of the 24-man raid and eight-man raid sets, which I think go together quite well.”
Colin dropped his first-ever One Shot post, saying, “Here is my new Jedi Shadow in SWTOR riding a Thranta across the skies of Alderaan. I’ve always wanted one of these as a mount, but sadly they only seem to appear as taxis on this one planet. Alderaan is probably my favorite planet in this game; I tend to blitz through the first few planets in SWTOR, but I always take my time once I get here. It has beautiful scenery, elegant architecture, and interesting creatures. I got this screenshot that encompasses all three, so I thought I’d share it!”
And finally, Katriana triggers all of the allergies in the world with this Guild Wars 2 plant. “In the ‘looking at things from different angles’ category, I got this rather nice shot of the Pale Tree in The Grove.”
