It’s important to appreciate nature now and again, and even more important to protect it considering the forces that are in the world today. That brings us to a unique collaboration that’s happening between Discovery Channel and the multiplayer RPG Genshin Impact, which sees the unlikely duo team up for several events as part of the Teyvat Nature Discovery Tour.
“The ‘Genshin Impact × Discovery’ collaboration is driven by the two brands’ shared passion for exploring the marvels of nature. Their joint efforts aim to raise environmental awareness whilst highlighting the fragile, endangered habitats of our planet.”
The collab has started with a short documentary that casts voice actors, athletes, and presenters as various natural habitats, while a special website that opens on March 16th will offer fans primogems and a housing item as they complete challenges offered by the collaboration’s tour guide, Kaveh.
Finally, there will be several real-world benefit sales starting on March 15th in special locations in France, Germany, Italy, Korea, and the UK. These sales will offer up unique GI merchandise on a first-come, first-served basis, with proceeds benefiting Cool Earth, an organization dedicated to preserving rainforests.
