Fractured’s latest early access patch boosts orb generation and nerfs Assassins

Now this is a long shot, so bear with me, but does anyone out there like buffs? Oh, everyone? Actually everyone likes buffs? Well then, you’ll be pleased to know that’s (mostly) what Dynamight Studios is offering Fractured players with its latest update.

The sandbox MMORPG, currently in its second round of early access, boosted orb generation, buffs negative status effects from stats, buffed freeze duration for Cryomancers, and reworked shock for Aeromancers as apparently it was causing lag as characters were spamming shocking AOEs on huge groups; now it’ll do much more damage, just on smaller groups.

“The only build that got nerfed (not majorly though) are Assassins, which were definitely OP in PvP,” Dynamight’s Jacopo Gallelli says. “Too oppressive,” he says in the patch notes themselves. “If a player’s Detection is >= the Stealth of a hidden player and is close enough, all the members of the party of the detector will now see the assassin as semi-transparent, not only the detector itself.” That nerf comes with reductions in gear set magic resistance and nerfs to Shadow Dash, Shadow Step, and Coup de Grace.
