MapleStory adds new nodes and even more events in part two of its Go West update

Last month saw the first part of MapleStory’s big giant Go West update release, and as scheduled, the second part of the udpate came online last week with some new additions and a whole slew of events.

Headlining this update are two new nodes for players to unlock for their characters in the form of the new Sol Janus common node and class-specific Hexa mastery nodes. The Sol Janus node has a dawn and dusk form while also granting a 100% XP buff, while the Hexa mastery nodes introduce all-new abilities for the side-scrolling MMO’s various classes, provided they’ve unlocked the sixth job.

The rest of the patch is otherwise almost exclusively focused on events, with new Dreaming Lachelein events, a continuation of the concert event that kicked off last month, several Burning events, a Pharaoh’s Treasure event that brings a limited-time roguelike mode, and a few general events. The patch also makes some tweaks to the Sengoku class, the legion artifact, and where familiars can be earned.
