If you’re eagerly awaiting more news about Valheim the board game based on Valheim the video game, well, you’ve got some news! There’s a whole update on the site for the board game offering players a comprehensive look of the overall game structure while announcing a plan to start crowdfunding later this year.
Each player will pick one of four warriors to take into the game to play one of the quartet of scenarios available. The scenarios all focus on a different boss, and players will start at a shared based, explore tiles and fight hostile monsters, and hopefully defeat the boss cooperatively within the time limit. If this all sounds like the sort of thing you want to play at a table surrounded by friends (as opposed to in the video game that already exists), keep your eyes peeled next month for the announcement of the crowdfunding campaign’s start date.
