The last horizon for the MMO-turned-lite Temtem now has a date. Following an earlier promise for patch 1.8 to land sometime in early September, Crema now has pinned down when that will be: Monday, September 2nd.

The studio promises that this last content hurrah will be a “huge” update that “[improves] on so many different areas of the game,” from its economy to a non-rotating store to easier-to-find umbra and luma Tems, which got an early patch note tease, although the piece of information players likely wanted to learn was blacked out.

Crema is otherwise all-hands around its side game Temtem: Swarm and still playing defense over the original game’s waffling nature and perceived abandonment – a feeling that players appear to be keen to remind the studio about: When the game’s Twitter account tried to ride the coattails of a meme referencing “the streets we grew up from,” one gamer clapped back, causing Crema to counter in a reply. “[W]e adore these streets, they raised us and helped us become who we are today,” the response reads. “Out of our love for it, we want to build a city, a universe, around them.”
