The Daily Grind: What’s the weirdest personal challenge you’ve set for yourself in an MMO?

A few weeks back, I saw a post on Reddit about an MMO player who had decided to set himself a bizarre project: to make every single piece of furniture in Black Desert. There’s no prize for this, just wholesome intrinsic goals.

And I love the initiative because I’ve done stuff like this myself, no achievement panel required. Hell, before achievements were even a thing in games at all. Collect all the titles! Build a rune library! Have several hundred shirts, one in every single color! Heck, the oldest self-set challenge I undertook was to travel by foot or boat to every shrine in Ultima Online. That was probably early 1998.
