One would wisely assume that an expansion named Vessel of Hatred is not going to be HappyFluffyGoodTimes in the realm of Sanctuary. And indeed, Diablo IV’s first expansion looks to be going down a “dark, twisting path of corruption” when it launches October 8th.
So what’s the next chapter of this MMOARPG all about, story-wise? It takes the players south as a brave hero looks to banish a big baddie even as she might become infected herself.
